Welcome

Bob Hughes
BTS President

I see the rôle of the British Trombone Society as a vehicle for players of all abilties and styles to share their love of music and the trombone and to promote the development of trombone playing and its teaching, as well as to explore and generate new repertoire for the instrument.

Please encourage your friends and colleagues to be members of the British Trombone Society. This is your Society. If you have any ideas for events or the future direction of the British Trombone Society, please speak to your local Regional Representative or members of the Executive Board and discuss them with us in the Forum.

The British Trombone Society website is run by an excellent team. Use it to talk about the trombone and keep up to date with news and events up and down the country. Include any events which may be going on in your area. The more we can encourage people to support live music the better.
